Thank you for being part of Good Sam’s response to the unprecedented crisis of homelessness in central Vermont
In the last month, we have witnessed firsthand how the motel program closure is affecting individuals and families who have few other options than to camp. We are working tirelessly to come to the aid of as many people as possible.
With your help, we have evolved and enhanced our model to become an emergency shelter network—a continuum of care that addresses the unique and complex needs of our guests.
We provide shelter, food, clothing, motel-based services, employment and housing counseling, street outreach, and community public health assistance to hundreds every day.
Will you contribute again to this vital work? Here’s how your gift could help:
- $75 will provide 15-20 cooked meals
- $300 will pay for our Street Outreach team’s mileage for one month
- $1,000 will provide vocational training through our Scholarship Fund
- A bequest will help ensure that there will always be shelter for those who need it
It is difficult to witness such suffering and not feel compelled to act. With your help, Good Sam can and will act—working to develop solutions to make sure no one is alone and unhoused in our beloved rural communities of central Vermont.
In Gratitude,
